-Be a candidate to run for International Office;and
-Nominate/vote in the election of Union officers;the election of Delegates/Alternates; or, in the election of International Union Officers.

If you leave your job for any reason, it is important that you contact the Dues Department as quickly as possible to see if you qualify for a withdrawal card. This card is available if you are out on Workman's Compensation, Disability, or any other interruption in employment.
This card has two (2) important functions:
(a) It stops your liability for back dues from the date that you leave your job, until you are reinstated in your current job, or until you are hired for another IBT covered position at another location with another employer.
(b) Once issued, the withdrawal card establishes your status as a member in good standing. You will not be required to pay another initiation fee.
Remember, ultimately it is YOUR responsibility to contact the Dues Department at the Union Hall to notify them of any interruption in your employment. The Dues Department can be contacted at: (973)923-7070
